To apply for an Electronic Travel Authority (NZeTA) to New Zealand, please fill out this New Zealand visa application.

For the application, you need to attach:

• A copy of your passport
• A passport photo with a light background

The processing time is 3-5 working days, and you will receive the visa by email, which you need to print out and present at the border.

The visa is usually valid for 1 year from the date of issuance, and you can stay in New Zealand for 90 consecutive days. Please note that it is always up to the New Zealand immigration authorities whether an individual applicant is granted a visa.

This visa does not entitle you to work or perform technical work.

The scheme only applies to EU citizens. If you have a non-EU passport, you will need a different type of visa.

If you are traveling to New Zealand to perform technical work (assembly, supervision, commissioning), you will need a Special Purpose Work visa.

• A guarantee letter from your employer describing the purpose of the trip and confirming that they will cover the travel expenses
• An invitation letter from your client in New Zealand (must match the guarantee letter)
• Educational certificate or a CV
• Payslips for the last three months
• A copy of the flight ticket or reservation (if the flight is not yet booked, we can make a flight reservation for 300 DKK)
• Contract between your company and the client in New Zealand
