If you are traveling to India for less than 1 year and arriving at one of the following 16 airports (Ahmedabad, Amritsar, Bengaluru, Chennai, Cochin, Delhi, Gaya, Goa, Hyderabad, Jaipur, Kolkata, Lucknow, Mumbai, Tiruchirapalli, Trivandrum, and Varanasi), we can arrange an E-visa for you.

The visa takes 4 working days to process and will be sent via email.

For an E-visa application to India, we require the following:

• Completed application form
• 1 color passport photo. You can have passport photos taken at Alt Rejser (150,-).
• A copy of the passport's front page. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay.
• For a business visa - a copy of your business card.
• For a business visa - a business invitation letter*

*The business invitation letter must include:

• The inviting company's name, address, and phone number
• The traveler's full name, date of birth, and gender
• Cities to be visited
• Purpose, duration of the trip, and dates of arrival and departure
• Name of the person responsible for the traveler's stay in India
• Signature and company stamp

Does this sound complicated? You are always welcome to visit our office with your passport, and we will take care of everything for you.

If you need a tourist visa for India, which will be physically stamped in your passport, we require the following:

• Completed visa application form
• One color passport photo. You can have passport photos taken at Alt Rejser (150,-).
• Original passport with at least two blank pages. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay.
• A copy of your round-trip flight ticket
• A copy of your hotel reservation
• Recent bank statement with the bank's logo
• Completed power of attorney form
• Foreign nationals must also include a copy of their residence permit or proof of permanent residence in Denmark. If you have lived in Denmark for less than 2 years, you cannot apply for a visa in Denmark.

Note: If your case is urgent, we recommend sending the documents to us as a Registered Traceable Letter (Value package). If sent as a Regular Letter, it may take up to 7 days (or longer) before we receive the documents.

The visa duration and the number of entries are determined by the Indian embassy based on the evaluation of the invitation letter, guarantee letter, and the applicant's travel history to India.

For a business visa application to India, we require the following:

• Completed visa application form
• 1 passport photo. You can have passport photos taken at Alt Rejser (150,-)
• Original passport with at least two blank pages. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your stay
• Business invitation letter*
• Letter from your employer explaining the purpose of the trip and guaranteeing financial support for the trip. The letter must be addressed to the Embassy of India in Copenhagen (Embassy of India, Vangehusvej 15, 2100 København Ø)
• Completed power of attorney form
• Foreign nationals must also include a copy of their residence permit or proof of permanent residence in Denmark. If you have lived in Denmark for less than 2 years, you cannot apply for a visa in Denmark.

*The business invitation letter must include:

• The traveler's full name, date of birth, and gender
• Cities to be visited
• Purpose, duration of the trip, and dates of arrival and departure
