Your consent is valid for two years from the date it is given. However, you may withdraw your consent at any time by notifying Alt Rejser.

Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA-IL) for Israel

As of 2024, it is mandatory for citizens of certain countries, including Denmark, to apply for an eTA-IL (Electronic Travel Authorization for Israel) before entering the country as a tourist or for a short stay.

Your application must include a copy of your passport and details of your address of stay in Israel.

Processing time:

The processing time is typically between 24 and 72 hours. In some cases, it may take longer.

Validity:

An approved eTA-IL is valid for up to 2 years or until the passport expires – whichever comes first. It allows multiple entries, but only for short stays (up to 90 days).

Work visa to Israel

Are you traveling to Israel to perform technical work (commissioning, assembly, installation)? Then you must apply for a work visa.

A visa application requires an interview at the Israeli Consulate in Copenhagen. We prepare and review all documents and accompany you on the day of the interview.

Here’s what we need to apply for your work visa to Israel:

  • Approval from the Ministry of Interior Affairs of Israel. The customer in Israel must apply for this. It takes 2–3 weeks to be approved.
  • Passport valid for at least two years
  • Completed visa application form
  • Two recent identical passport photos (color, white background, full front view of the face, size 5x5 cm – note that this size differs from the Danish passport photo standard. You may send the photo digitally)

  • Medical certificate from your general practitioner (declaring you fit to work)
  • Declaration of consent to be fingerprinted and photographed (signed at the consulate)

Once we receive the official approval, we will schedule your interview at the consulate in Copenhagen.

The visa is usually issued on the same day and is typically valid for one month upon entry, with the possibility of extension once in the country.
